Appreciate Adversity

In our lives, there will always be good times and bad times. I know that we all pray for the good times and reject bad times, however do you believe that EVERYTHING is working together for your good?

Yes, we celebrate our good times everywhere, but only few people who are close to us feel our bad times. But I have come to tell you to appreciate the times of adversity.

I know this may be hard to do because you do not pray for someone to be in your shoes right now, but guess what? Your trials are your blessings in disguise! This is because one who has never met adversity will never develop foresight.

Adversities bring out that strength and gift you thought you never had. It helps you to shape your entire being and make you better than what you were before. Can you just take your mind back and compare before and after those times when you had the problems you faced? I am sure things aren’t the same.

Tough times never last, but though people do. Why not let these tough times work for you. When you change the way you look at things, things will change the way they look. What do you see in the adversity that you are going through? Disappointments, heartaches, losses, sadness? Or you are recognising the strengths and gifts  you never thought you had like endurance, patience, grit?

I will like you to know that defeat is not final except we accept it and an anthill that is destined to become a giant will definitely become one, no matter how many times it is destroyed by the elephant.

Success in life depends largely on how you handle your failures.

So now what do you see?

BE YOU!

Is it possible for someone not to experience adversity in marriage or in life? Someone once told me he had married for the past 7 years and no issues.

Maybe it depends on how he sees or describes issues; negatively or in stride… So now what do u see?
